Capparelli at the Mill – Bring Your Own (BYO) Policy

While we await the final grant of our alcohol licence, guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol when dining with us. Please note the following guidelines:

1. Alcohol Permitted

  • Wine, prosecco, champagne, and bottled beer/cider are permitted.

  • Spirits, cocktails, or bulk containers (e.g., kegs, boxes of wine) are not permitted.

2. Corkage

  • No corkage fee is charged. Glassware, chilling, and service are provided with our compliments.

3. Legal Consumption Limits

  • Under Northern Ireland licensing law, alcohol can only be consumed with a meal.

  • Each guest may consume a maximum of one bottle of wine (750ml) OR four bottles/cans of beer/cider (up to 500ml each) per meal.

  • Spirits and fortified wines are not permitted under this BYO arrangement.

4. Responsible Consumption

  • Guests must drink responsibly. Management reserves the right to stop service if a guest appears intoxicated.

  • Alcohol may only be consumed on the premises with food service.

5. Opening & Service

  • All bottles must be opened and served by our team.

  • Unfinished bottles cannot be taken off the premises in line with licensing rules.

6. Soft Drinks & Mixers

  • We kindly ask that all soft drinks and mixers are purchased from the restaurant.

7. Duration

  • This BYO policy is temporary and will remain in place until our alcohol licence is formally granted.

We thank you for your understanding and support, and we look forward to offering a full drinks menu very soon.
